How will we do this? Being in India in such mass populated country, only automation will not be the solution. We would be required to mix and match technology with human skill to balance both. We are more focused on automation as well as on backward integration to achieve the balance.
Automation
TRIA is continuously investing in technology and we will keep doing this. Going ahead we are focused to get quality output with machine controls, where decision maker would be machine and not man. To support this in production we will be adding sliding heads, 2turret and 2spindle turn millcentres, hi-tech cleaning machines, deburring facilities, auto feeding systems, high speed and accurate cutting machines etc. In the split up processing of small batches our focus will be Poke yoke for each step to get the desired results.
At quality front we are adopting inspection methods with LVDT, reliable camera technology, latest ‘CMM’, VMM, contracer, surface testing equipment’s, hardness testers etc.
Backward Integration
we are more focused on correct input material where our team will be having specific MSDS for different raw materials (for bulk volumes), we will be procuring Hot forging press with induction poke yoke transfer system to get optimum result. Where necessary we will carry out annealing in-house to support our machining requirement. By 2025 we are also aiming for our own peeling, straightening, grinding facility to support our sliding heads. This will ensure crack free input for Automotive application components.
